Marks is a collection of photographs depicting cemetery folk art and folk life. I have taken these over the course of many years as I have explored the cemeteries of California, Massachusetts, Maine, and Mexico. You will find all kinds of human expression here ranging from the graves of Hell's Angels to the classic folk art of New England cemeteries to Latino celebrations of the Day of the Dead to the strange artifacts people sometimes leave on graves.
